Easton's Nursery

I have been planning and collecting things for Easton's nursery ever since I knew he was a BOY! I really love how it turned out. We are trying to get him here already, drinking raspberry tea leaf 3 times a day, walking, massaging and other crazy things! I am so happy that he will finally be here but I am also a little nervous to take him home and have all that responsibility. I also hate not knowing how the labor will go and just hope that everything will go great. Let me know what you think of the nursery and thanks for following along the last 9 months!

I couldn't find any crib sets I really liked so my mom and I made the crib skirt, pillows and drapes. I made the mobile but ordered the elephants off Etsy.com and sent her fabric samples for the ears to match the nursery. I used the extra fabric to make the pinwheels in the boot and on the ultrasound frame. The little boot was in my nursery when I was a baby, I just switched out the laces and added the pinwheels. I still need to add 3 more ultrasounds to the frame and when Easton is born I will put a photo of him in the middle. I had the crossword wall art made from a friend. The 3 frames with sayings in them and the changing pad cover I custom ordered from Esty.com as well. My mother in law, Ronda made the cute cowboy boots in the nightstand and my cousin Hollie made the EASTON wood letters. I made the yarn ball mobile above the rocker with glue, yarn and balloons. I figured it would give Easton something to look at while we are rocking. I just can't wait to hold and love him anytime I want!

First Baby Shower

Wow, it has been a really long time since my last post! So sorry, our home computer was whacked out and took a million years to do anything so I was very unmotivated to even turn it on. Now we have a new laptop and I love it!

Yesterday, our friend Jessie threw us our first baby shower. It was an awesome feeling to receive an invite with MY name on it. I have been looking forward to attending my very own baby shower for a long time and Jessie did a great job. Seriously, I don't think I have been to a better one. She spoiled all of our friends especially ME!

We played lots of different games, this one Dawn and April are smelling "dirty" diapers to figure out what the baby ate! Don't worry it's just melted candy bars, and yes, as gross as it sounds I would have loved to taste a few! Hey I have an excuse, I'm pregnant! Everyone tried really hard to win, her prizes were to die for.

Lots of yummy food!

Pretty much everyone made it out to support us, which is something to say since the weather couldn't have been worse. I appreciate everyone risking their lives for me, haha. Especially Jessie's husband who almost died carrying out our gifts ;) Our truck was full with goodies for Easton, thank you so much to all who came, we love you so much!

Little helper Payton, Jessie's lil' sis

I also want to thank Jessie for everything she does for me. She is the most giving, hardworking, thoughtful person I know (I have proof, she just won volunteer of the year at the animal shelter ;) and her hubby, Dan is the same way. I am so happy to have her in my life and can't wait to see what's to come! Thank you soooooooooooooo much, love you. Amber
